The solution with /etc/fstab works only on Linux platforms (tested on Debian). On other platforms you need to prepare a script in /usr/local/etc/rc.d which will run mfsmount with needed options.

Hello all)))
thank you for good job! It is excellent. I have not words to describe my feelings. And I'm waiting for quota mechanism ))

small question.
freebsd 8.1-PRR 7, moosefs-* 1.6.15
when I try mount mfs mountpoint throw /etc/fstab with line

mfsmount /mnt/mfs fuse mfsmaster=172.16.4.80,mfsport=9421,_netdev 0 0

instead mount I have error message

fstab: /etc/fstab:7: Inappropriate file type or format

sincerely and best ways
